Anyways, sell the PS3, you've got a PC and that's all you probably will be using during college. You can easily get past the $300 mark if you sell everything you have for it.

Yea I have my 160gb PS3 whcih alone will probably go for a little over 200. All the games with it which will add one maybe 30 to 40 bucks if im lucky. The official PS3 wireless keypad that attaches to the controller, the PS3 real triggers that make the back triggers feel like.......well actual triggers, and of course the controller and the necessary cords for it to work. It is in VERY good working conditions and is practically new. So If I dont get at least 300 for it at gamestop then its going on craigslist or something.

Gamestop will rip you off and only give you store credit, Ebay/craigslist it.

any game retail store will rip you off as in only giving store credit or giving very little for the stuff that you are selling, there olny there to make a profit not to help you make some money.

just use something like ebay most cities of a decent size have similar sites for selling stuff online within the city (example Halifax has kijji.ca)

600? Donate blood or plasma, and if your 18+ and are within restrictions for donors, sperm. and maybe you could clean your house out of electronic things you dont need and sell em off.

Doesn't matter. As long as you and your mother/father prove you're in some kind of struggle and need support from financial aid, they'll help you.

Remember, grants aren't loans. Loans you have to pay back after school, grants are completely free.

Ah very good to know. But I dont think my planned college will accept them since they have a work assistance program and its already only about 11k a year. But I can certainly find out.
