YSD IS BACCCKKKKKKK!!!!
Now that y'all talked me into coming back, let's make sure it stays that way:
Suggest things ya wanna see me work on/post!!! Not even I can keep up with new ideas all of the time. :S I try though.
Ok. 1) Just so this isn't seen as a waste of time thread, and 2) To reward the aforementioned people, here for you now, just thought up in the last five minutes, are:
1) So what is up with the column in the hlxstats that is for activity level? Even notice how there are like five options: inactive (0%), 20%, 50%, 90% and 100%...but even 20, 50 and 90 are hard to find. Last week I jumped on once at the start of the week and then again like 4-5 days later. MAYBE an hour each. This few hours a week was enough for 100% activity level. Seriously? If I get on for two hours a week, I have achieved MAXIMUM ACTIVITY LEVEL?! That's intense. Imagine if DoD:S were a job...
2) For all of you new people (and even some of the "vets" I have offended in the past), here is a simple rule to remember when reading most/any of my posts: Assume I am just kidding, it will save us both a lot of time.
Just thought I'd establish that again.
3) I can't believe people who make spaghetti with ketchup. Seriously, what is wrong with these people? I think spaghetti with ketchup should be called spaghetto.
4) I also can't believe that I referenced spaghetti twice in one week on these forums (strange coincidence).
5) New scrim ideas/suggestions:
---Blindy's Boys vs. Canadian's Kids. Seriously, there has to be at least a dozen of their recruits hiding around here somewhere, right? Maybe under the couch or something. I dunno.
---Retired people vs. guys not even old enough for a driver's license. Erich ragequitting when ganged up on by London and Goomba. Tell me that thought alone doesn't get you on board with this.
---Name-based teams. Do you have any idea how many guys named Matt there are in eGO? Even just DoD:S? I am not kidding. I was doing research for another project I considered months ago, and there are DOZENS of them! (Unofficial "Matt" roll-call! Where are you guys?)
---Region-based teams. Team Washington State would actually be pretty good, considering the half-dozen or so of us who are in the clan. It'd be interesting to see something like "and the winners of the Regional Scrimmage Tournament are Vermont" or something obscure like that. haha
6) Football season is coming. You have NO IDEA how happy this makes me. I am not even kidding. I am a football freaaaaak. To me, technically, football season never starts or ends (I coach on a semi-pro team and I coach on a college team), but...officially...here it comes!!!
7) Have you not heard?
8) If you want proof that eGO servers are the best, here it is: We have ALL seen (pretty much every time you get on to play lately) it happen. Dude swears. We ask him to please not swear. Dude complains about it, usually citing that "it's a mature-rated game." We tell him we don't care (ok usually not quite like that) and that it's server rules. They then either argue it a little longer, or just quit swearing and keep playing. Either way, they usually end up following the rules even if they didn't like them. Ummm...there are how many thousands of servers available at any one time but instead of just going to one of those, and getting to act however they want, they will just cave in to be able to stick around with us. I know from personal experience :sneaky2: that it is harder to remember not to swear in server than simply just switching servers. It all boils down to the same thing: I'd rather be playing in the eGO server and so would they.
I think that's saying something.
9) Ya know what I can't stand? Dumb people who say "it takes one to know one." Uhhh....
A - They always act all smug afterward like it was the tell-all, end-all, irrefutable, uber comeback, that nobody else have ever thought to use.
B - It makes no sense. I don't have to be a piece of paper to recognize this piece of paper in front of me. Does recognizing a skinny person as skinny, suddenly make me skinny?

Do you think I would qualify as an adopted Texan?
