Any true PC gamer can see bfbc2 is an obvious and shameless consol port. I REALLY hope that BF3 will not have the same treatment this game has suffered.

They had excuse with BC2, since it was console made originally. But it will be interesting to see how they deal with PC original game (BF2).

If we don't get all the original features plus new ones, sod it.

* Coma-rose
* Server FILES

* Jets
* Massive Maps which are non linear.
* Mod tools ( they should at least work on even if it after the release)

Impractical on a game of this scale, especially considering that all of the Commanders duties can be carried out by any given member on a team. Vehicle drops are significantly more frequent than they were in BF2, so it's not really necessary. UAV = Sensor mine. Artillery = Mortar Strike. Medics and Assault can supply the same AoE effects that the Supply drop gave. Given the fewer number of classes, having an Assault and Medic on the squad at all times isn't as unlikely and impractical for a squad unable to receive support from other players as it was in BF2.

On these maps? Are you kidding me? Many of them feel crowded with even 32 players in them. Doubling the average density would be a horrible idea.

On these maps? A helicopter can cover most maps in less than half a minute. A jet would cover the whole thing in a second or two. Again, highly impractical.

You're asking for an entirely different set of assets. The game does have many faults, but demanding two completely separate versions to be made side-by-side under the same name is...

Yes, I understand that this thread is about suggestions for BF3, but these suggestions are derived from perceived faults in BFBC2.

also not to mention DICE made the Bad Company series to be a different type of bf game as seen in the first one which had none of the things listed except for huge maps which it did, thats the one thing i miss is the extremely large maps from BC1
