inverted means if you move the mouse up, in effect, the cursor will move down.
so non-inverted means moving the mouse up and the cursor moves up

I use to use inverted, then I took a break from the computer for awhile and when I came back, inverted felt so strange I had to switch. I do still use inverted for flying though.
