Title says it, that new steam update broke my steam, i tried everything i could to fix this, even reinstalling, but steam just wont launch!!!! wont be playing steam platform games anymore............ Until it get fixed of course.
But until then, ill be playing League of Legends, add me on it, im stealth703 :P

I had a similar problem a few weeks back. Steam refused to connect. (Not that I was missed). I wasted a lot of time tinkering with my router and firewall settings. I finally bit the bullet and did an uninstall and a reinstall. Things are fine now. Talk to steam. They are helpful.

Just wait for the next update to come out, im sure there will be a fix for this.

its not a connection problem, i cant even get steam to start....
i tried deleting the blob files, and it updated itself then silently terminates itself.
But from the task manager, Steam.exe is running but i get nothing, pretty weird...

At least you didnt get your account disabled. trust me . thats WAYYYY worse! i didnt have steam for 1 year and a half. LAWL

Dont worry Stealth Steam hate every one equally, each update stuffs up my game, loses favorites , cgf file etc, etc you are not alone.

Lol. That last part was so funny and true. :P

I would say contact Steam Support about your issue or just wait for the next update to come out...it won't be long.

Try removing every last bit of steam, including the folders and the registry. I think steam may store some setting in the registry and keep them even after an uninstall.
