Computer keep crashing

Ah, on a different note, remove AVG. It's hardly worth your time anymore unless you purchase it. Keep avast (or Avira, highly recommended) and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM). MBAM doesn't have a system guard, but the scan is much better than most and it searches where other scanners avoid/neglect.

Or, of course, you can pay $30 and get NIS 2010, which uses almost no resources. I've had it for two years (of course last year it was 2009's version) and have always been protected/and or warned before opening files that are "rare (less than 10 people in the Norton community)" or from bad sites. I have (so far, for 2 days that my computer worked before the battery backup blew up) found Comodo to be good likewise. It has free anti-virus AND firewall, so it's pretty much an all in one, for a free one. Anyways, I did read about that it was fixed, I'm glad to hear that, you won't be abandoning me in the middle of rounds anymore.

Echoing the call for removing AVG. Its a memory hog that causes problems with the paged pool memory that is vital to run valve games. I had crashing issues and it turned out to be my mobo frying. I run windows essentials, mbam and spybot. All work great to keep everything clean.

So you will be abandoning me? Nooooo! If it isn't the PSU, Ric is almost always on vent (though often he is pulling a "Ric"), you can talk to him.

I just figured out my PSU, its 350 watt

yeah my first computer, lasted forever, started crashing like 3 years back, wondering why... the reason? low wattage psu with a higher end ghx card... went to the spec on teh card and what do you know it needs like a 450w ish... so..i went and bought/built a new computer :D
