well tbh i cant remember much = )
After my surgery and got sent home i reinstalled steam and played DoD s again
So i was looking for server and seen none had played and i jumped on the eGO donner server = )
and just waited there for people to join = ) i kept doing that for a couple of weeks when in Console i dont remember good
Said to go sign up at the site so i did = )
i put me =(e)=Tag on and kept playing there since then = )
Thats when i met good old Revelations , we played so much during the morning time here and NIght in the UK it was so much fun = )
Then a Couple of weeks i believe was Promoted to eG
So i had a bit more of responsabilty on me now = )
kept doing what i always DiD played godly amounts of Hours on the Donner server and get it running in the AM.
few months passed i believe and got promoted to eGO now that was surprising for me , and got new servers = ) , so i started Hoping true all the servers all the time all day during my Surgery recuperation = ) Fun times oh man so much fun = ).
Then a few months passed by and i was on Teamspeak when Dom and Kendle Started messing with me on x-fire calling me a hacker and such and to get on Team Speak so i did , Then they started telling me that why was i HAcking i had such a Headche that Made it waaaaaay worse, After they had their Fun they said i was Promoted to advisor .
as an advisor I kept doing what i did best and Recruit people played more and had more fun.
Then the houses where created and thats when Rojo's Raiders where created AkA The Raiders.
Now i had more responsability Taking care of me houses buddies = ) and I believe i DiD a pretty good job = ) , Great people on that house yea!! = ).
A month passed i believe and i got an Offer To be in the Team fortress 2 Council and i Gladly accepted , now i be working with Drunken , MOP and Gardengrove good people.
now that i had more responsability i had to make Tough Choice and that was to resign my my House LeaderShip and Advisor Possitiong and dedicate my self to TF2.
But you know i cant stay away from DoD:S.
Now i play both games including Call Of Duty 4 and WoW>
So i am sharing time to play them all when i get of work and i tell yall i been doing graet job at that = ).

Heres my story
Me and misterblonde use to work with each other at a place called County Wide Jeep. Me and him use to talk about CSS:S and how it would be cool if we played together. But the only way he could play was at a Cyber cafe. Well i couple of months later he got a computer and hl2. So we started playing CS:S together because my crappy dell could only play CS:S.
Then he told me about DoD:S and how it was only $10 dollars. So i decided to buy it right there and then. After i installed it he told me to check out this server. So i went on one of the DoD:S servers that we have which i believe it was flash at the time, i had come in the servers with bad name not knowing who edgegamers was and got kicked
I'm not sure if i got banned.
All i remember is Misterblonde sending me a message through steam telling me to go to their web site and read their rules. I use to dislike clans until i read their rules. I then signed up at edgegamers.us and starting playing like every night and then i got promoted and then i started playing more and more and more.

Well I didn't think it could be possible that a group of people, and not just a group of people but a group of friends, a group of gamers, who love to play games and share that opportunity with others could create such a mature and respected environment here on the internet and in the gaming world, but Edge Gamers has proved me wrong to the very core.
I remember back in the day when DoD was like Counter Strike in a way, with all the trash talking, horse playin', and mean folk just wanting to harass others while playing and not really care about anything else. When I first entered an eGO server nearly 5 months ago, it was something completely different. There weren't as many admins back then as there are now but they were still very mature and "upper class" in how they acted and presented themselves. I've never seen anything like that, well except maybe Christian servers lol. But still I was amazed.
Even to this day, as I have watched eGO grow and expand, it amazes me. It's exciting that I'm actually a part of this incredible organization for who knows what will come in the near future.
Once again, I'm extremely honored and privileged to be apart of this group and I hope to do anything possible to give help in return for those who have given us game loving freaks a place to enjoy a mature and excellent foundation.

Well last christmas I asked for Counter-Strike Source for Christmas. It ended up being the source pack that came with dod:s and HL2 lost coast, and HL2 Deathmatch. So after like 1 month of cs:s i got bored and tried out dod:s and i loved it. I was just a player who randomly picked servers. One day I joined the eGO server (donner) and played there for about a month. Striker and Toothpaste awuafresh got me to join. Then with the start of another branch of eGO I got TF2. And now with ANOTHER branch I got CoD 4. eGO FTW. That';s how I got here. Now with my rea in review I pretty much just started on donner... then i got inot ava, then with the new kalt server i played there. I got bored of that and always played on the kk server. Then strand, and finally the orange server. I am now back into donner. My best memories of the clan were waking up on weekends and playing kustome kettle with Rev, Baron, Kaos Duse, ya know. Now I am completely addicted. Its become part of my schedule to wake up, check the forums, go to school, come home, check the forums, and then game. (If i have hw i do it while chilling on vent.) I never get off vent or (formerly TS) because I go to the DAK channel. I usually play every day. eGO FTW1

You know i am bout to make 1 1/2 years with eGO!!! I thought that earlier and was like wow. I have watched eGO grow from such a little server to the biggest online game clan. I love this place. Last week I realized that it is time to start makin a difference. I have been here so long and have an eGO to show for it. So i decided to put more help into helping with plyr problems and problems on the map, and recruiting and recruiting for my house. I have decided to step up the game. I am glad JohnT gave me the opposition of tag or the ban cause I might not be here if he didnt.

4. On my Return (took 4 months) we had aquired a Donner server, so I split my time to the two.
5. I started sniping.

I was born from a fiery chasm at the most remote regions of Earth.
I played some DoD: S because I love DoD and am a sucker for pretty graphics, the ones DoD Classic lacked. I had bought DoD: S with the original Silver Source package when Half-Life 2 was first released, (which payed for DoD: S before it was released). I was waiting for DoD: S since it was announced, playing DoD Classic every day.
Playing DoD: S more and more, I needed a home server, and started playing on Edge Gamers because it was full in the early morning hours.
I decided that if I was going to play here, I might as well join and get to know people more thoroughly.
I put on the =(e)= tag (after a ridiculous, page-long introduction post to a thread that grew to be three pages).
Just short of one week later, I was promoted to =(eG)=.
I spoke of cookies and evil in a deep and menacing voice.
Three weeks later, I was promoted to =(eGO)=.
The Houses were created at the same time of my eGO promotion. I joined the JONES House.
I killed some peoples.
I ate some cookies.
I went on a week vacation.
I came back and my House was torn to bits.
I joined the Rats, and my previous House dissolved.
I realized that being with both my girlfriend, and eGO, has decreased my need to swear immensely.
I left the Rats to help the clan in creating the Unit [7] House with Wakka.
I killed some people.
I started getting a LOT more PMs and Steam messages from people...
And now I'm sitting all warm in my blanky having some hot chocolate and some pop tarts, having met a bunches (yes, A bunches) of great peoples and I get to kill them, too.
Yay for eGO! ...and...cookies.

I was recuited by my friend round the corner =(eGO)= Duggles in late august before returning to schoool and spent time on the AVA and Donner servers. On AVA server 2weeks after getting my e Console appeared and handed me a shiny G to add to my e.
Houses apppeared and I jumped straight in and joined RR (TR), Great people, great friends. One of my friends left for another house and I got lonely since me and him being euros, I missed all the scrims and events with RR because of the times and after a while and alot of goodbyes I joined Foreign Legion. TF2 clan appear along here and I had to join when Duggles did so I joined and loved it all as much as DOD:s.
Blazing handed me an other letter for me, my O. eGO in 3months and 3 days (yes I counted)(I also got my O in TF2 the same weekend as DOD:s). I got really involued in the Legion and loved it. A Month later I got given my House leadership, so that was so great I cried when I saw what Blazing had typed, I have had fun in the mean time next with the CoD4 clan (join it its great), but whos nows what will happen its been 4 months 1week and alot of hours of fun..............

I had been a dod player since the very first version came out(way back before half-life 2). As time went on I kind of fell out of it for awhile, but once source came out I was immediatly hooked again. I stumbled onto the edgegamers kalt server late one night over half a year ago. This became my second home for several months. I had really been enjoying my time there with all the sewer rat ego members. Finally several months ago like most, I gave into "Me the Butchers" constant nagging me to join up on EGO. So here I am. To this day Butcher still gives me grief for joining the RD house instead of the sewer ratz, lol

I've been playing DoD since 1.3b or before. I used to be in an Axis based clan called the 3rdSS and I was probably the best, or one of, rifleman in my clan at the time. I've since become horrible at the rifleman class... and it haunts me. lol. Once the clan disbanded I sort of drifted from server to server then went to play CS exclusively for a while.
I did not play online games at all for a looong while. I just got into DoD again recently and eGO was one of the first servers I played on and I'm still there, under new name and such. I really enjoy the fairness and balance of the admins, the good nature of the people, and the understanding that we're all just to trying to have fun playing a game.
I don't play very much these days but when I do it's at the eGO Donner server, practising riflemen skills.
It's a really great place in my opinion. Good job on everybody for maintaining and upgrading the community.

This is my history:
It all started out when I was bored one day. I didn't really play DoD that much and I said "Hey, what the heck? I'll fire it up". I go into the eGO server randomly. Saw the MOTD and liked how idiots weren't screaming in my ear about the latest Family Guy episode. I go in and start talking and joking around with Moe. Kind of wanted to join a clan, so I joined up with eGO.
Taking the name "Causalspark" (I should've made it MacGyver or something), I started as an e. I tried making myself out in the open and enforcing the rules when there was no admin present. I get a PM from Artimus saying "Hey, you're eG now".
Now an eG, I started enforcing the law with a 'bronze' fist as well as having a great time with newly found buddies. I'm not very good at the game, but it doesn't matter (To most at least). I've had ups and downs with strangers, but total ups with members of the community. Well, I look at the front page and I learn that I'm now an eGO.
Though at this current time I haven't been active much in-game, I'm starting up again today. I have, however, been an active contributor of editing articles for the frontpage.

I only remember that the first day I re-installed Day of Defeat, I was looking for a Strand server, that's when I found the eGO Strand server and I decided to hang around.

I used to just pick random servers to play on and had DoDS for about a year or so. Started playing on the Ava server for a couple weeks when an admin (can't remember who) said to check out the site and sign up if anyone was interested in joining. So I went to the site and posted my application and slapped on my good old =(e)= tag. Then school started up and I kept playing for a couple months when the whole house thing came about. So I decided to join Baron's house and a couple weeks later got promoted to eG after a scrim by Baron. I've just been playing on the servers and trying to stay on the forums and then joined TF2. A couple months later here I am today.

Well my story is simple for once, I'm a dinosaur at 23 years old, I came to eGO as a eGO scrapped from the R|P clan. I am glad I came and am proud to call each of you teammates and friends. Good job everyone, we've had some great times. Let's keep that up and remember, its a game, and game's are for fun. Just like me, Bucket's of Fun! Ok, it was my cousin's birthday(Near^). Vicious gave him the game Day oF Defeat: Source. Then, my cousin went to the FORUM. Then the next day.. THAT'S THE DAY.. I BOUGHT THE VARIETY PACK, which is CS:S and DOD:S! Then..I still remember the words edgegamers.us.. I checked it out for like 10-20 minutes. Then, I decided to download DOD:S, it took 1 night to download it btw. Ok, then the next day I played DOD:S for like 30 minutes. Then I was rushing to go to the EDGEGAMERS FORUMS, good thing it was bookmarked. 8) ..Ok, then I decided to join EDGEGAMERS ORGANIZATION!!...I met a lot of nice people here. I ADDED all of the servers to my favorites. Yes, this gotta be my longest clan i've ever been and the greatest clan i've EVER BEEN! Because I only play CS, btw. Then, Until I met DOD:S and TF2. AND THIS GOTTA BE MY LONGEST POST EVER!!!

Well, first of all i want to thank everybody in eGO for making this the best clan in the world!!
My story isn't a long one, since i'm in eGO for about 5 months now, but still.
I was a member of the clan [4G] first (4Gotten) which was an UK-based clan. My little brother and me were in that clan a long time. But there wasn't enough money to keep the server and the clan died.
I think you can call it luck, or just ment to be, but i found the 24/7 Donner server and played there lots of times, still wearing the 4G-tag.
I kept on going to that server, because the players on the maps, as we all know, love to be a team and play together to win the round.
One day, i asked THE question. What is the site to sign up for eGO? One of the admins answered and a few minutes later i could slap on the =(e)= tag.
In the beginning you could always find me in the AVA server, and there i was when i got my eG. I was so happy!!
About 2 months later, i was promoted to eGO by =(eGO)= Revelations, because he thought i deserved it by helping out the Dambusters, while he and Corp were away. And i thank him for that!
And here we are now, in the new year, 2008! I wish you all the best and let's continue the things we did in 2007!

I think you can call it luck, or just ment to be, but i found the 24/7 Donner server and played there lots of times, still wearing the 4G-tag.
I kept on going to that server, because the players on the maps, as we all know, love to be a team and play together to win the round.
One day, i asked THE question. What is the site to sign up for eGO? One of the admins answered and a few minutes later i could slap on the =(e)= tag.
In the beginning you could always find me in the AVA server, and there i was when i got my eG. I was so happy!!
About 2 months later, i was promoted to eGO by =(eGO)= Revelations, because he thought i deserved it by helping out the Dambusters, while he and Corp were away. And i thank him for that!
And here we are now, in the new year, 2008! I wish you all the best and let's continue the things we did in 2007!
