So uh yeah... Idk if any of you knew... But I'm Cuban... And I live in Florida... How ironic right?? And i also live in the part of Florida known as the lightning Capitol of the usa (also doesn't help me out). Soo the other day.... (Saturday I believe) there was a pretty bad thunderstorm. (not that their has t been almost every day this summer cause I live in Florida) and during that thunder storm a very mean lightning bolt decided to hit the right spot and knock out my Internet...

Now my ISP being as garbage as they are won't have anyone to come check it out till Wednesday afternoon ish. Soo I'm stuck to play single player games until then. Meh... I think I'm gonna try to beat prototype again. Cause it is probably one of the best games out there. Anywho I thought I would inform you as to why my extended absence has occurred.

And let me tell you.... I feel my computer is virtually useless without internet. I sat down today like i normally do after I got out of work tonight and I was like.... 'oh man..... This thing is virtually useless now that I don't have Internet.' :facewall:

Can't speak for Cub4n but I can say I personally post from my android phone once in awhile when I don't have net cause I'm just that nerdy and <3 you guys just that much :)

Oh man that stinks. Well if you REALLY need internet, I live in West Palm Beach.

When we had those hurricanes a few years ago, I lost internet for 2 weeks. After a few days of being in total, absolute denial (checking the connection every 10 minutes), I started to do other things to stop my brain from melting in agony. I cleaned up the bedroom, bathroom, read some books, and called family members I should talk to more often. I actually started to feel like a productive person.

I hope I never go through that again, and I hope you don't either! :)
 
I'm posting from my iPhone... But even then.. It's not like there isn't an abundant source of computers here. Lol.
 
Yeah we've been having pretty bad weather down here lately. What part of Florida are you from? I live out in the west side of Ocoee.
 
You guys are complaining about a little t-storm as bad weather?

Shame on you. Making Floridians look bad.
