So would you get a a GTX 470 or a ATI 5870

So I am wondering what would you get a GTX 470 or an ATI 5870.
Well I am not to sure 470 for tessellation and 5870 for everything else I guess.
I am not to sure so I am wondering what you guys think.

Recent drivers make it equal to or (a little bit) greater than a 5870. At stock. OC that to 480 speeds, and boom, thats the pretty priceerformance.

5870=~3k ppd

GTX 470= 10k+

If your interested in folding at all you will be happy you got the 470

Thing is they will go "hot" easily while running a surround gaming setup (ATI calls it an Eyefinity) and I am going to probably overclock to 480's speeds but I probably will have to get a water cooling set as I don't want jet plane fans.

If you have a water cooling loop you have NOTHING to worry about. And plenty of people have them running higher than 480 speeds on reference cooling with no problem. Heat really isn't much of an issue.
