How Did You Find eGO?

This one time a couple months back I got sent a 3-day guest pass for DoD:S from my friend from school, Mayoe (He plays on avalanche sometimes but he isn't a member). During that time, I checked the server list in the morning (GMT here) and all the servers were empty except eGO 24/7 Avalanche, so I went and played that.

When I bought the game, it was the first server I thought to play so I brought it up from my server history.

I've probly been on eGO's BC2 servers for maybe a year or so now, their on my favorites and its usually populated so I'm there a lot and now and then some people would talk to me. I found that lately my friends I used to play games with a lot no longer play the same games, one only plays tabletop games (D&D, 40k dark heresy, etc.) and the other still plays mobas now and then but only plays with his own clan and tries to dodge out of playing with me in strategy games.

So deciding I should try some clan or other to find some people to hang around with (I don't like my friends clans he keeps switching around a lot) and someone from the BC2 server told me to try eGO...which is really the only clan I know of that has any people so here I am, trying to populate the strat division a little more lol.

Over a year ago me and my brother played alot of dust 2 / office server , after a few weeks i joined , after that i got my brother to join eGO... Happy i did since that day

Well, one day, last year in May, I began getting bored of tedious CSS servers and tried looking for a new breed. First I came across deathrun, then after a few weeks came across this thing called "JAIL BREAK" and gave it a shot. I loved it. Of course, that server didn't have enough rules or admins so my search continued. Sense I loved Jail servers so much I this one called eGO Jail Break. After two months I decided to join but didn't get around to it until about a year later. I've met most of the servers admins, and almost everyone will recognize my name because of how much I played.

Hrm, been playing on Ego server for a very long time now. Especially jail, just because the server was wel adminned

I found dods while on sale a few months ago and had some friends in ego that persuaded me to buy it. I then was introduced to ego and im loving it so far.

A very odd way. My old clan was comparing very large clans and we stumbled upon eGO. I signed up for the forums then, but wasn't engaged. Only recently, after I left my old clan did I decided to make an application to become a full member

I was playing Day of Defeat: Source one day as my old name, KamikazeKarl, and stumbled across the eGO Avalanche server, which was at the time, I believe #2 in the global rankings for DoD:S. I started playing and talking to a couple of the members, and then JohnT told me that I should put in an application to join, and I was hooked ever since. When I got my G about a week or so after joining, JohnT and slayr asked me to change my name from KamikazeKarl so that people didn't get me confused with Kamakaze Tommy, so thus began Punch2Face =P

Funny story

Well, I've initially been friends with Stranger0 from another community I'm a part of, Necrophix. Started playing Battlefield 3 pretty often on your server. Then one day PBJ was on and I guess he noticed me being a encouraging the team and trying to guide the team by just team chatting, which can be a challenge if you can imagine. At the same I was having an awful gaming day.

At some point, we were on the Island map and I accidentally fell off the side of the aircraft carrier that the attacking team spawns from, and had no way of getting back up. I actually didnt die either lol. PBJ got in his chopper and saw me in the water, and came to my rescue. He actually lowered it enough so I could get in which was pretty sweet! :O It was love at first sight... and PBJ just couldn't resist inviting me to the community. :laugh: Unfortunately, when he started going back up he hit the side of the hull and we crashed. It was a good try.

And here I am.

Well for me it started with Day of Defeat: Source, loved that game!
I had just bought the game and wandered into the "Charlie AKA Strand" server and enjoyed it so much that I looked for the other DoD servers, finding them not quite as much fun as Strand I went to play CS:S and thought I'd look for eGO servers there, once I found them I fell in love with them quite quick! Played jail for awhile, then lost interest. Then the same thing happened with TF2, found the servers, fell in love with the 2fort servers in particularly and after about a month of playing on the servers I joined the DoD division under the name Cold3dge. Then I left eGO for three or so years, about a month ago I joined the TF2 server again and Borokov convinced me to rejoin eGO. I just wish I had stayed with eGO for all those years.

I was looking for TF2 clans and saw people with tags such as =(eG)= and =(eGO)= floating around. I googled them, and here I am.
