How Did You Find eGO?

I found the wonderful Blackmesa tf2 server years ago. Played there for quite some time. Met some great people. That was years ago now.

I was trying to find a clan to join. I remember playing on TF2 and seeing some people with =(eG)=™ and =(eGO)=™ tags. I searched steam for eGO and checked the groups. As soon as I found Edgegamers I applied.

My novel :S

I began playing CS:S around 2006. Sometime in 2008 I joined a clan with which I had been playing for nearly a year. Joining meant you had to be hand-picked and it was a fairly large community). I was very loyal to the clan and I had been an active member for at least six months beyond the point where I became a member when I became angry with the way leadership ran the clan. It was a very opinionated, care-free, immature style that was less than to be desired. Needless to say, I was disappointed and left the clan. Sometime around then I had begun playing in eGO servers because I had heard from friends that it was a very friendly, mature community. While I did not actually join eGO at that time in 2009 or so, I really enjoyed playing in the servers and the rules the eGO community lived by. I ended up quitting Counter Strike before I took the opportunity to join eGO, though. I had simply lost interest in the game and I started to move away from PC gaming. When I recently came back to Counter Strike, about a week ago, I immediately hopped into an eGO server. After two days or so of deciding if I still had the same feeling for eGO, I applied. eGO has brought me back to PC gaming with the same magic and feel as before and I am really excited that you have allowed me to be a part of this awesome community!

I've played Cod4 for 3 years now. i got sick and tired of all the clans i've been in, so found out on gametracker that eGO is top ranked. And i went for the best :)

Several eGO member were in a zombies server and I was interested in joining cause I had some complications in the last clan that i was in.

One of my best friends introduced me to tf2, and he happened to be in eGO. After a couple months of playing on the eGO servers he played on, I decided to join. And then the rest is history...

A friend told me that this was a terrible clan. I joined out of sheer curiosity and have loved it since. Goes to show what he knows.

My brother was in the CS division for over a year although he barely ever played. When I started playing TF2 actively I happened to recognize the tag and decided to give one of your servers a shot. Loved this community ever since.

I was really into Day of Defeat source about three years back and one day I just happened upon the eGO servers and found they were a bit more lively than the others I had played on so I started frequenting the servers, meet a few admins and became pretty well known. Then one day JohnT happens to join the server(I had played with him a few times in the past and talked to him before) and he pretty much told me "Hey Too_Tall, you know your name would look pretty good with an eGO tag on." and after talking with him for awhile, I slapped the tag on and became a member. So I get to brag I was one of the few(still alot) that JohnT personally recruited :)

Starting looking for random servers on CSS. Came across Dust2 24/7. Then I visited the website and signed up!

Found them by typing in TDM on Operation Metro into the BF3 bar.
Saw the server was empty, went to website and saw a huge clan.
Decided to join.

I found eGO when PBJ drove our jeep into something and we exploded, he then asked me to join the crew. Though it seems I'd spent some time on some of the DOD servers in the past just didnt know it.

Considering eGO has the best DoDS servers, it wasn't hard to find you guys.

^This.

I started playing the DoD:S servers because I had excellent ping to them, and the rules suited me. Checked the site, found the CS:S and TF2 servers, played on all 3 games for about 3 years, then last year, finally officially joined eGO (had been a forum lurker for a while) in the CS:S division, then lapsed for a bit and switched to OP:X for SWTOR.

Came across eGO by the Steam Servers list. Had over 40 people playing, low ping, a more mature audience focused on game play and teamwork.

I found you guys on DoD:S because I'm really interested in Omaha Beach landings of WWII so I wanted to play dod_charlie or dod_strand so I typed that in on the filters and you guys were the only one populated!

My brother was in the CS division for over a year too, and i decided to start playing CSS so i bought 2months ago, and the same day my bro asked me to go in eGO so i did. ^^ And i'm pretty happy to be there

i was playing Battliefield: Bad Company 2 when i came upon this server and i met a couple of members and they were really nice people. So i decided to join. And here i am. :)

I started out playing CS:S, found that our jail server was my favorite, and got recruited a few weeks later.
