Quit my old group because some little turd disrespected me and leadership did not back me up. I later heard that the turd hacked their website or something; the group is now defunct. In any event, I was pubbing on different servers and liked the combination of no FF, no all talk and clean servers with plenty of players on at most times. So I applied to eGO and was accepted.

found a tf2 server with a good ping, people admins and awesome maps. Joined. found more of the servers with even better maps (convoy)

Just playing on the eGO DoD:S servers and got asked to join very simple story lol and loving every bit of it
I stumbled onto the CS:S eGO 24/7 office server several months ago. After playing there for a while, I explored the other servers, and particularly enjoyed the dust_2 and jail maps. After playing on those for quite some time, I finally decided to put in an application.
I suppose I chose to stay because there's a very specific minimum for the expected player code of conduct, and if that minimum is violated, then admin action is often swift. This leads to a healthy gaming environment free of hackers, racism, disrespect, etc.
That gaming environment is rare these days, and is the reason why I continue to enjoy gaming with eGO.

I was playing the the EGO servers gaming, and Doom asks me to join and so I joined. My favorite server for CS is the rotation server. =)
I've been playing on eGO servers for years and never thought about joining. A few months back I got REALLY in to CS:S, where I was playing about 80-100 hours a week over break. I decided that joining would probably be fun and help me improve; so that's what I did!

I Found eGO when browsing for Jail servers. And came upon eGO and joined couple days later!

I found eGO via Google by searching for a mature and active gaming community. Google so smart.
I used to share a Steam account with my brother, years ago. And I always played Day of Defeat: Source and Counter Strike: Source and I always played on eGO. So when I got my own account I joined eGO but never really got active in the community.

Well, I was playing on my brother's laptop (I did not have a Steam Account) and found he had an office server. I liked office so I played and I then saw people hoping, so I went to a jail server and was like,"What is this?" So I played and I really enjoyed it so I decided to join eGO. Now I'm here

Well, I found eGO's CoD 4 Crossfire server sometime before I moved, and had a lot of fun in it, so I saved it into my favorites. When I moved I didn't have internet for a while and when I did, I of course jumped into CoD 4. A little later Stryccckkk aka Stryck 9 aka Ryan recruited me and it's been history every sense!
