How Did You Find eGO?

In 2008, a group of college friends and I started playing TF2 together, and quickly found eGO servers to be among the few we enjoyed playing on (too many griefers, idiots, meanies).

We played under the clan name "Muscle Beach" and frequented the eGO servers, making friends with the eGO members. It was apparent that eGO was growing quickly in the TF2 division (I think there were only 4 divisions then). And their servers were popular! Yay!

Because we were regulars, and responsible, the division leaders reached out to us en masse via Ducttape (where did that guy go anyway?), and offered us a sort of expedited eG status if we'd do the training and contribute to admining.

We accepted, and Muscle Beach became a suffix as we buttoned on our eG tags with pride.

I learned of eGO from my friend (Aragorn) who had just joined eGO, so I joined, and I have loved eGO ever since it has a great community.

It was completely random for me. I was playing World of Tanks and started making a list of all the clan tags that I encountered in pub games. After a couple days, I had a page full of clan tags, so I started looking at each one. Some clans had general descriptions on their WoT clan page, others not much at all, and others like eGO had a link to their external web page.

Long story short, I checked out eGO and liked the content, found the ventrilo server... and as they say, the rest is history...

I found eGO through the DoD:S avalanche server. I then found their donner server and become friends with eGO members and I enjoyed my time playing there. I started coming to events and got vent and then I joined.

I found it via a very good friend of mine. (Phantom373) I loved playing on the CSS servers and Minecraft server as well

I was Running around on tf2 server hopping i suppose and it was black mesa sunday i joined near the end during the time i was playing it seemed like everyone was having fun and i realized they were all if not most were in this group so i asked what group and i was directed here by a few admins and im glad i was

Back in 2008 I was surfing the various sites and found =eGO= one of the few sites that were "G" rated. The other thing that really impressed me was this web site and all the extensive statistics. Since then I play primarily on our DOD sites, come to know a lot of the players- good clean fun!

I had just bought CoD4 on Steam, and was looking for a seemingly populated server. That's how I found 24/7 Crash, then from there I saw they had a 24/7 Crossfire server too!

I have played cs condition zero for a very long time and my first day on css i found a populated d2 server which just happened to be eGO.. Dark frost tried to recruit but was a little late because Xavier #teamD beat him to the punch, Has been great since!~

Well, I was playing TF2 and joined a random server-happened to be the eGO Harvest one. I noticed it was fun and well-kept, and wanted to learn more about the mysterious eGO. I liked it, and I decided to join it.

I found the 24/7 TF2 servers and found them to have a much better quality of gaming then most of the other servers I have played on. So I decided to keep on coming back to it.

Back when DOD:S was really really popular i used to scrim against =(eGo)= when i was in -|TDB|- once they shut down their DOD division i moved to Custom Killers for awhile and noticed they were slowly dying and i knew =(eGo)= was still very alive and kicking.

I found it by being a serial lone wolf.

I've always been a bit reticent about clans. However, after playing on eGO's 24/7 Heavy Metal server for a LONG time, Skagnatti asked if I would like to join the clan. It didn't take me long to say yes. I've found that all of the eGO players that I frequently gamed with were respectful, fair and funny. They always want to enjoy the game for what it is...A GAME. Don't get me wrong, no one plays to lose but the presence of admins makes for a MUCH more enjoyable game play experience when others try to ruin the fun.
But I digress, Heavy Metal is my favorite map and since there's usually a bit of a wait to get into the server, I knew that it was a great server.

Playing many of the steam based games, you KNOW eGO. You've played on the servers, you've seen the various tags around. Eventually, I just decided that I'd rather be apart of an organization rather than competitive teams. There's an array of skill levels, various event-type scrims where I can still get my competitive fix. It's a good place to be.

I found eGO servers and loved them (TF2). And I really liked the way the admins were so I decided to try it out. It was a great choice .

I've been playing Cod 4 for several years now, and just recently (A couples days in fact) I found an eGO Deathrun server. I played one round and loved the admins that were on. They were fair, they were fun, and they, most importantly, followed the rules that they stood for. After a couple rounds an admin asked if I would like to join. I felt that it would be impossible for me to be in a group because I am currently a college student, and have taken on demanding classes this semester. After a couple more rounds another admin asked, and I told him my story, and he explained that I did not have to have a certain amount of time on the servers, and that I didn't have to have a minimum amount of posts on the website. This is a completely different experience for me, and I love it. The people that I have met here are awesome, and I actually feel that I could do well with eGO. Thanks for the post, I've been wanting to share what it's been like ever since I got here!
