Do we even do the weekly events anymore? I haven't heard anyone mention them..

I don't think we ever got them started again when we got the hc conquest/event server. I would like to the see events start back up.

I think right now the priority is server population and rankings. After those become more stable events will start back up.

I'd also like to see the events start back up. No hurry, the admins are busy people, but we can start getting an idea of how many people would be wanting to participate. After all, we can alleviate some of the pressure on the admins by getting ourselves organized and maybe getting some people in some impromptu weekly events (ex: we could all get in vent, split into teams and have a secret assassin match). After all, if we have an unofficial gathering already taking place, the hardest part (getting people together) has already been taken care of.
So what do you guys think? Maybe we should start with a head count?

I second Toruk and ipwnturmum ( ridiculous name btw 
). I asked one of the leaders for an Atacama private practice for our scrim and they said the same thing about filling the servers being more important. I believe, however, that we're filling the servers by playing events and practices. The events dont take more than hour or two so after we're done we open to public and get people coming in.
By the way, Kawaii...I was B0ba F3tt. I would have gotten your tags twice if it weren't for your Imperial guard ( jcorr ).

Ok, sorry about not getting back to you guys about this straight away. Here's how it is: Yes, we are going to do events again. The first one is already out, link, make sure you read the rules first.
Now, Brew, the reason I said that is because there were already some people on the server, about 16-18. Plus, the practice for the scrim is really kind of on your own and you can fill up the regular conquest server like that. Now, here's the other half: Back when we were still running events, one of the biggest problem was that almost no one showed up. That was understandable because we were new and we didn't really had a lot of members at the time.
Even though the events were an hour long and even though we spent a great deal of time after the event to try and help fill up the servers, they were still ranked in like the 600s or 500s. We slowly stop events due to the low turnouts, that and we'd accidentally gotten rid of our event server. This is kind of where the whole "server ranking is priority" mentality comes from, cause being ranked so low was really kinda depressing. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to pm me on the forums or talk to me on vent.
