Today and tomorrow are going to be the SC2 tourney at mlg. Watch it at www.mlgpro.com, the quality is okish, but if you pay only $10 you can get a HD stream with DVR capability, being able to rewind and stuff while it's live.

Going to be watching the stream all weekend, I got my stuff purchased :D

Starts today at 4:30 central.
 
Im not sure who im rooting for. Not Fayth though casue im to dedicated to Trump <3 Ill probbaly root for silver becasue he made idra rage and i dont like idra
 
Oh god, silver vs greetorp was amazing. This is what makes the game such a good spectator sport, and this is really early in the development in the game, people can only get better and we get new maps. We're going to be seeing games with 10x the epicness of that later in years, with even more focus on epic unit control (micro) with people becoming faster and being able to pay more attention to it when the builds and late game becomes instinct and all the timings instinct. Comparitivley speaking, everyone in sc2 is still really really bad compared to the top of brood war players even if they were top in brood war. Everyone is still figuring the game out.

Also, 10$ for the HD stream and being able to rewind was totally worth it.

Im disappointing that I missed most of that series was in the meeting and i had the stream muted so i didn't hear it but it looked epic and i saw that last part of game 3 and it showed me how TvT is constantly changing.

Socke vs Drewbie game 3 possibly the best I've ever seen in sc2, every battle so intense.

I think the best part was when the mothership came out :laugh:. I was pulling for Socke to win though but an epic game nonetheless.
 
im actually at the event. been watching some of the games and got a shirt signed by husky. anyone else actually here?
 
a good size but halo is the main event. id say about 150 for sc2 right now crowd will prob pick up later. bah my phone has a stroke every time i go to the ego forums....

Rofl, mlg posted that the stream is one of the best PC gaming streams in amount of viewers ever.

I think it's just way too early, I saw the pan yesterday and there we're a ton of people mid-day.
 
Thanks for letting me know i wasnt sure when it was. Ill be watching it :D but not with the 10$ thing XD
 
I hope you guys all enjoyed the MLG tourny they had. HuK had a decisive 4-2 (though it was set up weird) win over Kiwikaki.

And Cut, most of the people there were actually there for Halo. The entire middle of the convention center from middle to back wall were all Halo 3 setups. I've never seen so many 360s in my life...
Even for the final, SC2 only drew about 150-200 people by my rough estimate, as SC2 only had 1/6th of the floor reserved for them. The other 1/6th were Tekken6 and SSBM and the last 1/6th was for booths (Doritos, Dr. Pepper, Hot Pockets, and Stride gum).

I just can't get excited for this, because all of my attention is being drawn to halo now o_O
 
The games I watched of Huk impressed me immensely, the macro and micro was very intense, and the final games were fun to watch to boot. I also stopped in to watch some Tekken 6, twas awesome.
 
Did you get a chance to watch the semi-final losers round? There was an epic collossi war. Both had about 7-10 and it was "War of the Worlds" lol
