DoD:S Realism Campaign 2 Army HQ!

Personally I think People are just over reacting a little.
I think it is fine to hide in a dark corner. If i was in war and knew that and army was coming, I would want to stay hiden and not give away my position as long as possible.
Also, I believe there should be barricades. However, maybe the bed in donner's sniper could be ruled out. But in saying that you can always shot rifle nades up there, into the windows. And in real Life i could come a bed into a stairwell in about 60 secounds.

So really this reply has just been s waste of time. Just really look foward to this campaign.
Just ONE little question though. In the Realism mod that eGO has. We switch teams after too round right? I know that we can manually switch teams. but then the scoring is stuffed up. or have you altered the mod a little?

Barricading entrances with indestructible furniture or items is already against the rules. Regardless of whether the strategy of "turtling" by finding dark corners or obscure hiding spots is realistic, if you expect to play on Allies this is not an acceptable strategy. So long as the enemy has boots on OUR territory we will not be hiding like cowards just to win a round. Every position we choose to defend will have tactical significance and will facilitate killing Nazi's. We will win or lose the round based on our ability to destroy the enemy. I've already expressed this to Sumac so there's no sense not telling you all here.

My mission will be to forcefully evict every enemy soldier in each round we play. If the round timer runs down and the enemy is still alive it will be a bittersweet, displeasing victory. Wars are not won by hiding in holes or behind wood-stained armoires.

So hiding in the trees on flurry is not what we want. is this what you are saying here? Or are you say hiding in a dark little corner way back near our spawn, is not what we are looking for?

The trees on flurry are perfect spots from which to kill the enemy with large fields of view. Dark little corners close to our spawn with little chance of encountering the enemy are undesirable positions.
 
camping is not my job at all :) my mission is suicide mission and kill few enemy before they will get me ;) that why i like to only 1 with me when we defence or attack :P
 
Beauty, I am so excited. Will there be the normal realism this W/E. or will we have a break? If so I totally understand, its a lot of work to get the campaign up and going.

Dont worry JLind, while i send a lot of you measly pawns to your deaths im usually right beside you cursing my short attention span and in-game claustrophobia. :crying:

Really with all the talk and all the behind the scenes work (mostly Ron and Cwhit) I'm ready for this campaign to be over lol Only kidding, I am looking forward to crushing the Allies yet again.
