Ping Limits, Yea or Nay?

I say no on any limit - sometimes players pings jump around then smooths out

has been discussed before, and it will never happen. eGO is a worldwide clan, having a ping limit would contradict what eGO is.

hey, if excessive rubber banding causes a problem, address it. otherwise i say just leave it alone. i've seen people with high pings who werent skipping at all; so no problem, no action. just my two cents.

My 20 cents worth here - since i play from NZ on a fairly old computer I rarely see the low side of 200 ping on eGO servers. I have definitely gotten used to being killed by people sometimes at the very same moment i see them if not just before! One observation from me is that limiting ping would cause very empty servers after a certain time of night.. at the moment for my time around 10pm eGO servers empty out, limiting ping would put off us foreign people who can't do much about it due to distance, who fill a few spots on the servers with an "e" tag due to our play time. And while i can appreciate it could be annoying for some people playing against high ping, trust me - it isn't fun playing with it! But very minor detail.. i have found most of the closer servers to me are pure trash and not worth playing on.. i can put up with being an easy target for a mature server!

I think if there was a ping limit, it'd have to be generous one. we don't want to exclude any of our own members!
