Microsoft is releasing a new 360 controller sometime in November an it looks pretty good. They've done a drastic overhaul to the D-Pad, which is show in the video below. Also a new color scheme for the ABXY buttons and the ergonomically friendly improvements to the controller.

Looks the same too me. Just a few color changes and a d pad change. Also, why is it that I can only hear this video out of my right speaker?
 
-_- maybe if it wasn't wireless and didn't cost so much I may be interested. Otherwise yeah no, there isn't much of a difference from what I can see. Oh and also, all of my wireless controllers seem to eat batteries like their candy
 
Woo they can make more money.

Maybe they should shell out 5 cents for some LED's so it isn't a pain to look at.

They have rechargeable batteries for them.
 
So they changed the colors and made a new D-Pad that looks snazzy?

I....can't believe it. You would think with the new Xbox design Microsoft would really step-up when the do design changes and updates.
 
I'm sorry, why should i buy this over the razer onza? oh wait there isnt....except the onza is wired, but 15 feet. Also the Onza is supposed to come out the same time
 
I like how they make you pay for the bundle, lol. I'd take a ps2 controller over a xbox 360 controller any day.

Wait, first they increase the subscription price THEN they change the pad colour and increase the price on that too?

All i have to say is ... shame on you!
 
The 64.99 isn't for just the controller, you also get two controller batteries and a charging dock.

So I estimate thats $30 for the extra batteries and dock, and $35 for the controller itself. If it were sold solo it would be normal priced.

Castlevania is my response. Allows for much more control, and the current d-pad sucks. But that's still not enough to make me want a new, overpriced controller that's a lot more...grey. I mean seriously, it's just stupid that they just took out all the color. Why is that necessary?

Hm, MS seems to be pointlessly increasing prices of things. I wonder why? Is all the $50+ for EVERY XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT not enough for them?
