Yeah dude. Seriously--watch them both back-to-back and you'll be like "I JUST WATCHED THIS EXACT SAME MOVIE!"

The Sandlot:
Non-baseball playing kid moves into town.
He is allowed to join the sandlot gang.
Various pranks and scenes in treehouses, pool, etc.
Baseball game against some punk kids.
Lose a ball behind the fence with some "epic" evil dog.
Find out that the dog isn't too bad and that James Earl Jones is the cool neighbor.
Cut to modern-day of main character.

Non-baseball playing kid moves into town.
He is allowed to join the sandlot gang.

Lose a model rocket behind the fence with some "epic" evil dog.
