Castle Crashers vs. Scott Pilgrim

I have 20 bucks on psn and wonder which game I should pick. There both beat'em ups and need help deciding which one ill buy first. Castle Crashers has online co-op and supposedly more replay value while Scott has much better music and I like the combat a little more. Which game would you recommend i buy first?
 
It got bad reviews solely on the fact that it didn't have online co-op or drop in/out offline co-op ( this observation is based on the positive metacritic scores)

Castle Crashers hand down. Why even have a discussion.
 
I picked up CC last night on PSN. I never played it on the 360 as I don't own one. But let me tell you, CC is a great game with lots of re playability. I played the demo for Scott Pilgrim and it is a good game as well, but it wasn't worth buying IMO.
 
Castle Crashers is the best arcade game on the Xbox. The music is awesome.. its Techo-rock. What more do u want? It has a lot of different ways to fight, its very amusing and repayable. I give it a 9.2/10
 
Forgot to mention in the original post that I plan on buying both but I can only afford 1 this month and will buy the other sometime in october. So I assume its unanimous for Castle Crashers?
 
I dont have a 360, but Castle Crashers is on my list of games to get if I ever do. Definitely the game to buy.

Yeah, all the game reviews I've seen. Then again I don't go looking around for console game reviews as I don't own one.

Not that you should buy a game solely based on reviews anyway. Though, you should get castle crashers first seems to be the general consensus.

Well you've suddenly peaked my interest, what review websites do you usually go to?
 
Castle Crashers is more interesting. Scott Pilgrim gets really old, really quickly.
 
I havnt read the above posts but Im going to have to say Castle Crashers, I had the Scott Pilgrm demo and just it wasnt interesting enough for me, and Castle crashers ive enjoyed a lot

The scores I saw may have been outliers, www.gamespot.com had 6.5 on it, then again they aren't the best to go off of. The rest were basically all the general game sites, IGN actually had an 8 so that wasn't bad. It's just around ~7.5 on average on all the sites I've seen.

Like the reviews weren't horrible, I was just saying it didn't get as good as reviews as castle crashers. Probably should have worded my first post different they are more like "decent" reviews, not bad.
 
I've played neither but i've seen both, CC is produced by the group from Newgrounds including tom fulp himself, theres a flash game on newgrounds thats almost just like the game from what i've heard, the one you can get on console has a story line while in the flash you just try to kill tom lol.

Scott Pilgrim is amazing on itself, the music i had is really good i enjoy the retro style music it has on the game.

CC though does has original music from all over newgrounds and your always welcome to download that music for free. you just gotta read up on the reviews see some game play videos, see what you like and choose and be happy
 
I found scott pilgrim to be fun. Theres a demo of both of them on PSN.
