Need help with Mic

For some reason my brand new Siberia V2 Headset the mic volume is super low, can anyone help?

Right click the little speaker in your System Tray and click "Recording devices" click on your microphone and click "Properties."

Go to levels and check the boost as well as the level itself.

well not all mics have the increase volume feature. like mine i do not have it. so he could also boost it in the program itself (if it has it) steam has a microphone booster in the voice options

Windows is capable of allowing you to adjust any Microphone volume settings. If you're on XP, it's slightly different. Windows 7 is straightforward. Windows XP takes a little more effort.
