Well from the wikipedia link, which wikipedia isnt the best source, but in one quote that is recent saying "[I am] on site, working, but she is weak" then music playing.

This could a silly joke, or cliche movie type deal where these 2 are running from something, find the station and try to get help and just play the music to pass the time. Or something that could be like futurama and the omicronians with the radio and tv transmissions being several years late and could be a reflection of those waves back at earth.

But the thing is no one knows until they go to the station, and find out whats going on

I am always fascinated by cold war things like this. I still remember when Obama came here to Canada, the day or two before a couple of Russian bombers entered our airspace. It was big news scrambling our CF-18's to intercept them.

It's coming in and out of broadcast every few hours, apparently. It was inactive for a long time, but in the past few days it has broadcast morse code, voice messages, and computerized data streams readable if you hook up a shortwave radio to a modem. So nobody knows what the heck is going on.
