New Build Help Needed.

Hey Dudes and umm Dudettes,

I have a simple question just so i dont get this wrong (even if it makes me sound really tarded xD) but on my Case wires that plug into the motherboard like POWER SW, RESET SW, HDD LED and such. Is the Black wire always positive or always negative? or is it the other way around and all the colored wires are positive and the black wires are negative?

The case that i have is the NZXT M59. Any help would be nice =) thanks everyone!

read the manual it should say if they if they need to be polarized. most dont but still read the manual that came with the case

you can also guess and check.

It is VERY hard to break them by plugging them in wrong

hmm Okay I have to get one last part tomorrow before i start putting it all together just wasn't sure which would be positive and negative as my motherboard has a diagram of positive and negative pins xD

IIRC, LEDs don't need to be polarized correctly, but switches do. Just do it with the labels (on the ends of the cables) are facing up.

Black wires are usually neg and red is usually pos.
