Left handed gamers use the arrow keys (or the num-pad) for movement; everyone else uses WASD.
 
I'm a RIGHT HANDED gamer. I use the old elder scrolls daggerfall controls. Right click to go forward. Arrow keys for strafing and jumping.
It's fine when you learn how :P
 
Does not have an option for custom keys.
I use space bar for forward, v for backward, a strafe left, s crouch, d jump, and f for strafe right. I set up all of my first person shooters that way. It's more comfortable.
 
Im Right handed. I use the arrows for movement. How the hell can u use the WASD, i mean its confusing.

I don't use any of those. In fact, I don't even own a keyboard, I use the power of my mind to control my games......
 
WASD, first discovered the idea on the game; Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
 
I started using arrow keys back during Duke Nukem 3D and never learned WASD since. Nor do I know how to type correctly yet can type 60+ WPM :)
 
Since I'm ambidextrous, I can use WASD to move and the mouse on the right to fire, or I can switch it up and use arrow keys for movement, with my mouse on the left. I've only played like that once, when I tore the muscle tissues in my arm, and it became convenient to switch it. -.-

Other than that, WASD ftw.
