Hey guys,

With the upcoming release of Halo: Reach I thought I'd add a thread to build up some suspense!!! I'm really looking forward to this game!

I pre-ordered my copy of Halo Reach! Have you?!

Only 5 days before it comes out! (and counting!!)

too bad microsoft has ownership of this series or else i would buy it and play it on PS3 or PC
 
ha if halo went to all platforms it would give bungie more money. Halo on PS3 would cure cancer and stop all wars :P

Even though I suck at making maps how can you not like Forge.
 
I have to say, they put alot of money into marketing on this one. I never saw such cool real looking trailers for 3 or ODST.
 
lol Ive been playing Halo Reach already for the last week.

Just beat Campaign on Normal to test it out, then went on to matchmaking pretty interesting so far.

Some of it I dont like some I do but its just gonna be another average game it looks like.

You know you can get banned for playing it early right? So your either lying or doing illegal things. UNLESS bungie came to your house and handed it to you.

I can't wait for Reach. I've had the Legendary Edition pre-ordered for a while now

@bleblablueble - If you're playing a leaked copy, then you're going to get hit with the ban hammer.

If Bungie does this time around what they did with Halo 3, then they'll wait until Reach comes out, and then start banning every account that played Reach before the release date.

You really dont understand the way of banning and how it works if you think playing a game before its released will get you banned.

Ive played xbox for a long time now, and have done this with all the Halos.

If you want pics of me playing the game I can get you some tommorrow

Yeah, I don't think they ban people for playing games before their release. I got the first Mass Effect three weeks early and didn't get banned....I did get a lot of nasty messages from various people because I went on the xbox forums to rub it in :P

In fact, I understand how microsoft bans users (my friend's brother works for them, different division, but he has access to the information). People have been banned for playing a game early numerous times. What they really ban for is if you don't have a legitimate copy. I'm not going to explain how they know or how you could get around it or not, but all I'm saying is if you have a legitimate copy, they probably won't bother you about it. They would, of course, if you've had a copy for quite a while. They could be watching you (especially if you're playing matchmaking, they have your "number" so to speak). I've personally played Reach already and finished it. But, knowing what I know about how microsoft bans users, I didn't play it on own account, just in case. Don't forget, this is a high profile game like modern warfare 2, bungie may be working with microsoft to create a banning list ready for the release.

I do not play the Halo games, except me and my older brother used to play Halo and Halo 2 on the original Xbox back in 2003-2004. However, I love their trailers.

It makes me want their to be a Halo movie. :O
 
While they aren't cracking down as hard on people with legitimate copies, anyone who is using a pirated copy is pretty much hosed.

And actually, Microsoft has banned people in the past for playing games early/playing pirated copies. They usually only do it once a year though.

im getting Hetalia season 1 on that day. LOL

but i do want to get Halo Reach (and a 360 or borrow a 360 from my cousin).. :o
 
Hmm, Im on the fence about this one. I didnt like Halo 3 as much as the first two,but the forge just looks even more amazing.
 
Gonna be interesting to watch the fall of the spartan's training world go down in a fury of molten plasma and it shall be beautiful :D
