Decisions in Life

Life. We are living it now, but are you where you want to be?

I am only 16, so I really don't have any decisions that I truly regret at this time in my life. School is going well and I have plenty of friends. But one thing I wish I did when I was younger was participate in more sports. I only played baseball and bowling in organized leagues as a young child, and was never allowed to play football, and I also dropped out of soccer. I just wonder how different I would be now if I had played those sports from a young age because most talent is developed young.

And another thing that ties into EdgeGamers. I wonder what my life would be like if I never got into online gaming. All those hours played add up, but how much of an impact did it really have? Would the friends I have in real life be different if I hung out more on Friday nights instead of making eGO meetings? Would I be more in-shape then I am now? It's just interested to wonder.

So what about you? Life. Do you regret, love, look forward to anything?

If I didn't play games I'd be wasting time doing something else, it's not like your going to solve world hunger with those hours you used.

Also, I wouldn't have my online friends of like 6+ years that I can talk to about stuff that my real life friends don't want to.

I only regret 1 thing. Not spending more time with my family. I am a sophmore in highschool. I only have 2 years left with my parents, and I will miss them.

I don't regret finding and being apart of eGO. It has made me a more mature person and a friendlier person. Believe it or not, but once you are around eGO rules as long as I have been, they start to rub off in real life. I have also had 1 friend on steam for over 6 years. I talk to him about everything. We know EVERYTHING about each other. None of my real life friends know that much or get that personal with me.

So do I regret some things that I did and what I didn't do enough of? Sure, but I refuse to dwell on those things. There is no good in dwelling on what you COULD have done with that time, it is what you WILL do with the time you have left that will count.

I regret not trying in grade 8, it affected me in high school. I was bullied, and I let it get to me.

But in some ways I don't regret it. I resorted to something I liked - being on the computer. I've met better people online than in life.

I love it.

I regret being pressured into asking a friend out. We aren't as good friends as we used to be :/

I regret not putting in the effort when it mattered most. I'm where I am today because of that. It is what it is.

I have my life planned, and will work to make it happen.
As of regrets, there is only one thing I regret, that is having wasted my time a few years ago with a girl the last year my best friend was going to be here, then he moved to Spain.

i regret nothing

if i were to change anything in my past it would change the person i am today

and i dont like the idea of being anyone other than myself

plus i live for the present

if you focus on the past then you arent living your life to the fullest
