Civilization?

Hey guys, wassup?

I recently became addicted to a certain game... Sid Meier's Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword. I was just wondering... does anyone else in eGO play these games? If so, what's your thoughts on the game's styles and gameplay?

Just putting this up cuz I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone likes these games styles besides me. :3 And because the 5th one comes out this month!

Me and a couple of friends used to play this game all the time, we played the vanilla and beyond the sword all the time. We would get together for whole weekends to team up on the worlds as several different nations. Civ V is coming out in 11 days I hope you know.

I haven't bought a Civ game since Civ II, but Civ V is on my "must buy" list and I am really pumped for it to come out!

I grew up with Civ 3! Although I wasn't very satisfied with Civ4 and beyond the sword, I am definitely going to get Civ 5!

Lol, there was some pretty good points (a bunch of new Civs to choose from, and I loved the Next War mod), but then again it's true it wasn't too much to add onto the original game. :\

I am now terribly depressed.

Normally, my video card doesn't support most recent games. I waited forever to be able to get L4D2, and I can't play it because of my video card. In fact, I have about 30 games on Steam, and only 7 of them I can play due to my failzor vid card.

Civ 5? My video card supports it. At last! A 2010 game my computer can run perfectly!

My CPU however, isn't fast enough... Life is terrible.
