For those willing to manually update

Seems Valve is a bit too fast to push out client side updates that need to be kept in sync with the server bits.

Open up Steam, go to Team Fortress 2, click properties. Click the update tab and change it to "Do not automatically update this game".

Downside, you might be in for a bit of a queue when an update hits, or find our your client needs to get refreshed before joining in. Should help, when they update things again tomorrow. :facewall:

Servers do not automatically update. Someone has to log in and install the update then restart the server. Garden used to have to do this manually, which is why he was in that helicopter in the first place. What all those gold bars were doing in there with him is anybody's guess.
