Recently, my Creative Fatal1ty headset just broke. I was raging at a T in jail and I yanked my headset wire. Suddenly, the headset stopped producing sounds and my mic just stopped. Now, I need a new headset or mic for my PC. I checked my headset and everything seem fine, perfectly fine, but it doesn't work. I was going to purchase a Razer Headset for 70$ but its quite expensive. What are some other headset you guys suggest that has a good working mic and good sound? Preferrably 20-45$. I don't want to spend another 50$ on the same headset I have, but if I have to, I guess I will rebuy it.

Whatever you do, you shouldn't spend more than 30-40 on a headset. If you're gonna spend anymore, you might as well buy a cheap Logitech usb desktop mic with some good separate headphones while you're at it. I'd say go with blebla's first recommendation.
