now my question is: should i get 2 x 2 gig or 2 x 1 gig of memory on my gfx card's ? what u computer guys addvise for it ?

Uh.. the video ram doesn't matter as much as the actual card. What cards are you looking at?

i was thinking of 2 X 2 : ATI HD5970
or ATI HD 5870.

Or should i get a vid card from crossfireX? if so, some suggestions, (i prefer a dual card tough)

Thats a $700 graphics card, definitely excessive

Your way over killing it, just get 2x Gtx 460s and you'll max fps on the games you play, any more and you won't even notice.

ya gotta know, this is gonna be a pc that has to run virtual pc and stuff to.

and the two GTX = nvidia ? cauz then i dun't want it :P i don't like nvidia

Their very good cards and come well recommended. Also, you dont need much to run virtual PC, i run it fine on mine.

so what crossfireX card u guys suggest ? and if i lets say 2 ATI HD 5870, is that concidered as a crossfireX or not? i'm really confused about this GPU stuff :P any links where i can get alot of info on crossfireX besides there official site ?

Why not? SLI 460s is literally the best GPU solution you can do right now. Why don't you like Nvidia?

Nvidia definitely provides good quality GPU's, ive been using Nvidia for 10 years, so i highly recommend this one.

Family pc lol

Your current Nvidia was good when you purchased it. It isn't bad, its OUTDATED.

So it's not Nvidia you have an issue with, it's your aging card

lol, i had tons of blue screens, i needed to reset my drivers and reinstall them all. it's not a bad gfx card, it's just i had to much problems with it. When i have to start to do effort for my pc, while my pc is supposed to do it for me, i get mad :). i dun't want nvidia, so i go for ati. and preferable crossfireX. Thank u

The Nvidia will provide better performance per dollar, but hey. It's your money.
If you have to go ATI, and if you have to buy right now, and if you have to have CFX, get two 5850s.

You realize blue screens can be caused by any number of things. Most BSODs aren't because of your video card, but related to RAM and other things.

Just because one card of a line that you think is bad, doesn't mean the newer ones are. There have been multiple bad ATI cards, you just need to know which ones to pick.

Your focusing on brand too much, it's like paying 50$ for a pair of jeans that are only worth 5$ because it has "American Eagle" on them or something, when you can get a better quality/better price jean from somewhere else.

I would say the majority of BSOD are RAM based. All of mine and friends are.

I dont have a fantastic Nvidia card, its a GT 220, but i still support the brand because they make quality GPU.
