YESSSSSS Iron Maiden and Metallica, i love them both. I kinda have a weird story about Iron Maiden. This past Christmas. I was sick, had a sore throat and was really drowsy and stuff. My dad's snores were going threw the walls so i couldn't sleep either. I was up till like 1am and then I was like ill try to listen to some music to block out the snoring. The first song i listened to was Aces High by Iron Maiden. it was amazing man, my sore throat went away and like i didn't feel sick anymore. The next morning i woke up and my throat was sore again and I just started blasting some Maiden

I'm working on perfecting the song, "Canon in D" By Johann Pachasomething. Its played by a kid almost perfectly on YouTube, the kid inspired me to try it and I'm working on it. Ya'll should check it out, its the most watched video I think with over 33 mil views. Just search "Guitar" and it should come up as one of the top few.

Oh dude i love that song. But it's really hard man. I tried reading the tabs and i only got past the easy beginning. ( the slow part ) I can't get the little riff that is after it. I kinda just gave up on the tabs... waste of 15 pages x)

Dont give up Frosty! Dont look at it and freak out. Just read it in small parts so you dont get overwhelmed. Try getting down a measure or two, and put them together so you have them in muscle memory. Kepp going throughout the song until you have it finished. Its hard work, but VERY satisfying.

I play guitar. I have many guitars because my dad plays as well and he understands the need for guitars... unlike parents who don't play an instrument. I have an Ibanez S470sol and a Jackson RX10D in the polka dot finish. These are only MY guitars. My father's best guitar would have to be (in my opinion, probably not his) his 1969 Gibson Gold Top, that sadly was stripped of its gold finish because the paint started to peel. I play less than I used to but... here's a link to my playing.

you dad is awesome man. good luck with your band.
It's kind of hard when you're playing when your parents can't really support you because they have like no clue about it.

i play guitar for half a year now....its not that bad...i hink..but my family goes nuts^^ i own a cheap version of a Epiphone LesPaul....its a Spade Paula Spezial...im gona get a new one...but i cant decide which one...the Ibanez Ibanez RD 350 EX , the RG 350 EX , an Epi LesPaul or the PRS Custom 24 Satin.....
