Justice, an Electronica Techno Duo, is in fact I believe the only "Hard-core" (Very serious about their religion and beliefs) Religious Electronica duo..

Check out their logo, for goodness sake.. And yes, thats them. I believe their french.

HOWS THAT FOR STRAYING FROM THE NORMAL. Forget gospel and Christ-rock, the new age is here.

Oh and they TRULY kick ass. Their beats are so damn Dirty and just. Ugh. Amazing Electronica Duo.. And me being very religious myself, I fell in love with them.

Oh and I figured that song is suiting. Their only album released so far is just a Cross. Thats the name. Not the word cross, the symbol. †

justice, is considered a Religious themed Electronica/Techno Duo.. As first it was self proclaimed, but after people witnessed their rituals before events such as concerts, that diminished.

k another thread pwned. next? =p

I'm going to have to disagree. While there is couple of Christian references thrown in, Justice is barely a religious themed band. They at one point called themselves an ?electro-Christian-club?, but they haven't done much uphold that title.

Here is an interesting interview I found:

Justice said that they wanted a strong concept for each record they put out and with this one they wanted to keep people guessing, Are they Christian? Are they Satanist? ?Bowie and the Beatles always changed their faces. If we?d just put out a record that was electro with some rock influences then people would not think it particularly interesting.

Also I noticed that you didn't mention the track Tthhee Ppaarrttyy, which is basically about Uffie going clubbing and getting wasted.

I do agree though, the album is brilliant and a can't wait for their next one...whenever that may be.

I strongly dislike Uffie. Like, STRONGLY. But besides that. I do suppose your right. They don't surround their music with religion, all though the two are obviously very religious.

When I first heard them I was listening to a techno playlist on youtube. The song Genisis came on by Justice, and I was just shocked. I had been looking For Electronic music with that pitch and type of sound for ever.

I found them to be a combination of MSTRKRFT and Some elements of Daft Punk.. Regardless of whatever Genre they classify themselves as, They are simply epic.

Nice to know there is another fan of them. They are the only Musicians of ANY KIND whom released an album, and I liked, well loved every single song on the album.

A cross the universe was amazing too. One of the best live albums I've heard. I really wish to see them live.

And don't even get me started on the epicness of their Music Video Stress. Ohhh. The french REALLY loved that one /sarcasm. =p

I was going to post the video for Stress on here, with the thread name 'Best music video ever'... Then I noticed that even the censored version depicted violence against Women, Violence every 5 seconds, some guy giving the middle finger, and curses in French.. Figured after any Admin saw it the thread would get deleted and I'd get Warned. =[

I was going to chime in with Agnus Dei arranged by Rufus Wainwright because it's a pretty powerful song and if you're in Catholic school, most people are guaranteed to have heard it once before.

Couldn't find a plain video for the song, but:

Kyrie by Mr. Mister. The chorus comes from the Greek phrase Kyrie Eleison, which Catholics hear at every Mass translated to "Lord, Have Mercy". Plus, thanks to "Hey, Soul Sister" everybody's heard of Mr. Mister lately, so this way young punks will actually hear one of their songs (actually, the song came out 9 years or so before I was born).
