FFXIV is a week away

I just got the game. But it seems all of us are in different worlds, lol. I'm really loving FFXIV right now and I hope the PS3 servers are the same as the PC ones. I'd love to play with my living room TV and sound.

They will indeed be on the same servers. this is the way it was with xbox and PS players on ffxi as well. we all will play together.

I would even go so far as to say dont get the game until PS3 release as last I heard all the big changes will be implemented before it launches. its a great game but launched early i suspect as more of a trial than an actual launch. there were too many things not polished at the launch.

I played beta and launch and me and my guild are waiting till march launch of PS3.

The game is fun for me now, plus they keep giving us free months. This is like the 3rd month in a row they've given for free.

And according to latest news, the PS3 version is delayed past March with no more window.

Regarding the PlayStation 3, it is not our wish to release a simple conversion of the Windows version in its current state, but rather an update that includes all the improvements we have planned. For that reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of the PlayStation 3 version beyond the originally announced date of March 2011.

Ouch. that is bad news. but i will wait for this as i have been waiting for a few years now. it is probably for the best as i am working full time and school full time and that leaves little game time for a little bit longer.

I'm playing the beta this weekend, and it looks amazing! Not sure if we have enough interest in our community though for me to want to buy and sub..

Yeah "one week away" turned into nearly 2 years! Lol. Btw, can someone give me a decent overview on all of the classes? Like ranges dps, melee dps, melee tank, magic heals, magic dps and buff dispenser.
