Medal of Honor PC Open Beta

Yea it just went live today, I'd expect some servers to have to iron out issues... that is why its called a BETA.

They're testing stuff afterall... it just crazy how so many people hate on games when they play a beta. Its a beta its a test version, its free. You didnt have to pay money for it so why are you cryin about it lol

Been playing for about two hours now, and all I can sayis that it's great! Too bad there's only two maps, but after all (as Duality stated), it's a beta. I'll definately buy this over Black Ops.
 
I played for about an hour.
It's... unpolished. I know it's a Beta, but its still severely unpolished. The guns feels like toys, there is absolutely no recoil or spread, the Marines are more powerful, the graphics are horrible, the server browser doesn't work, and the matches themselves are pretty laggy.
I did give the game a chance, though. But there is no in between in this game. It's either really good, or just down right terribad. I had a few good matches, surprisingly. But the game is too easy. I went 25+/3- several rounds in a row. The chain combos make the missile strikes so easy to get. And since the horrible map design allows for easy spawn killing, you just launch it at their spawn, get another, rinse and repeat.
Ugh. This game. Sucks. It looked cool, and I was looking forward to it. But I am disappointed in this game.

That is how I felt about the first beta and now this beta. Like I said before looks like DICE their plate full and couldn't finish their meal.
 
Took a few rounds to get used to the way it played. I dont think its horrible, but I don't think there is anything super awesome about it that makes it innovative or new in the fps genre.
 
I just finished playing for about 30 minutes. The whole time, everyone was using snipers, and that's practically the only way I died. Ooh, and spawn killing was rampant.

Yeah, bolt action sniper rifles are OP in this game. They need to re-tweak it.

Also, I've made a quick thread on the official forums here about my thoughts on the beta thus far.
 
Well, after playing for a good while, I can say I enjoy it. But I'm really into customization and personalization. I'm a junkie for that stuff, and Medal of Honor's multiplayer "John Everysoldier" kinda turns me off.

I still think I might get it, just wont like it as much as I think I'm going to like Black Ops.
 
oh man moh is awesome game :P i like using sniper and rifle class alot :)

No no. A thousand times no. The bolt action sniper rifles are perfect. I can finally snipe in a game the way I snipe in Day of Defeat : Source. If they nerf the sniper rifle I will absolutely not get this game.
 
I played the first Part of the Beta that came out awhile ago. It reminded me of a little bit MW2 and a little bit BC2. I asked myself, why would I play this game when the other 2 are just fine for what they offer.

Alright maybe the rampant hacking in MW2 sucks and makes me rage.

Alright maybe the bad knife mechanics in BC2 sucks and make me rage.

Alright maybe the haxors in BC2 (there are always hackers in battlefield games, deal with it) sucks and makes me rage.

Looks like this game might be fun for me for awhile.........until I rage of course.
