Why is every server a 24/7 map server?

I'm not complaining, really. I was just wondering if there was a particular reason for this. I love ego servers (best part = no cussin' allowed, thus no jerks in general =)), but I also love most of the maps in TF2, and I have to find random pubs for my "other map" fix. Why doesn't one of the more inactive servers (like fast respawn 2fort) get transferred to a valve maps server? And come to think of it, in DOD:S there are alot of EGO servers, all of them 1 map, and more than half of them almost always empty. Am I alone when I suggest this?

We have several servers from the TF2 Division, we do have a valve maps server if you have not found it already, as well as a fun server that from time to time is unlocked for pub usage. As for the 24/7 servers, those are the most popular maps that were either voted or showed on the charts so whatever brings the most activity, that is what would be chosen, but suggestions are always accepted here! Thanks for the input Mr. Stabe hope to see you around on the servers.

2fort instant respawn is usually always full and we have a valvemaps server:0 i'm unsure of your question really.

edit i see what you mean fast respawn lol ya see what ya mean. They must of just changed valvemaps to dustbowl i think haven't really looked at it hard in the past few weeks :)

24/7 servers usually are more popular than rotation ones. The only reason that valve maps survived for so long is because it had a community of people dedicated to the server, so it was always populated. That sort of thing is hard to come by, since most people are happier sticking to a map that they like rather than trying out something new. I liked valve maps though, and I am sad to see it go. If you want to speak to leadership alone, you can make a post in the drop box. And you can know what you are not alone when you suggest this, a fair few have.

And hey, variety is the spice of life.
