quick ? bout Graphics card

k hers the deal i recently received a ati RAdeon x1600 from a friend brand new never been used. Now when i plug into the motherboard (its agp btw) and start the comp up the monitor is all fuzzy but the card's fan works and everything like it don't look like its not working if that makes sense.. now someone told me that it could b the power supply but from my knowledge i doubt that just cuz i don't think it takes alot to power a card now i could b wrong.. What u guys think the problem could b?

Please be more specific about "the screen is fuzzy".

Can you tell us informaiton like - does it get into windows, or which driver version your downloaded ot use.

I think I know what he mean. J3sus, you try to say that there are like a static effect in the screen, right? (Note - I'm just assuming here, bear with me)

Try remove your graphic from the motherboard, then install it again. It probably just an unproper installing procedure. I think.
