unable to download maps

so my brother(drum hero97) just recently got a new computer, and got all the games he wants on it.
but he cant download any maps or files that the server makes you download at the beginning. it always has the missing map error, or another similar error. i have checked all that i know how to check and it matches up with the settings on my comp, but his cant download maps.
idk if this is meant for here or the tech forum, but anyway, do what?

Umm look in the CSS folder and see if the maps are there. Im not good with computers so that might not work. But GL

cl_allowupload 1
cl_allowdownload 1
cl_downloadfilter all

i erased the map folder completely and it still wouldn't so i just gave him all of mine, but that's not gonna get too far.

y didnt he just make a backup? so much easier to just save maps off old hard drive and copy them over to new one.

thats basically what we did, he installed css to his comp and it wouldnt let him download teh maps, so i put them on a usb and transfered them
