I want a smartphone

Right now all I have is a classic flip phone. That means no youtube, twitter, facebook or anything like that. Since I'm on these quite a lot I think it may be time for me to get a smartphone. Anyone have any budget suggestions?

Also, it doesn't have to be touchscreen, as long as it has some easier way to text (my phone doesn't even have word completion helper :/)

I will suggest nothing other than Blackberry. Also, it might suck, but look into yearly contracts as it can significantly cut the cost of a new phone, up to free in some cases.

I got a new phone yesterday. Didn't get a smart phone after I figured the data plan would run me an extra $300 a year.

Yeah it's pretty frustrating.

We got two Droids from Verizon and the data plans are $60 a month for both phones, so our monthly bill is about $180 :glare: That's almost enough to finance a brand new car.
