ok so i download the update and it works fine until steam went down and everyone ust randomly all of a sudden came online. I restarted steam, and all the ego servers are gone from my favorites. I said thast odd, so i take one of the ips from the server listing and it wont even connect to me in console. Whenever i satrt css back up it gives me this in console.

varify your game cache, i just recently did that and it helped me out alot.

I had exactly the same problem, lots of eGO posted that there is no concern, Im not sure why it happens, but it wont affect your gaming, good luck

Right click on the file " Config " in :

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\YOURSTEAMNAME\Counter-strike source\Platform\config
OR
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\YOURSTEAMNAME\Counter-strike source\Platform\config

then select " Cut "and paste it to desktop. Then try it again.

This will move the file to desktop , so any errors in that folder wont affect your game , instead it should re-download that file. If it doesn't work restart steam and if it still continues not to work right click select Cut again and Paste it back in.

Also try verifying the integrity of your game cache files.
To do this right click on the steam icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and select " Library ". Then right click on " Counter Strike Source " and select " Properties ".
Then click on " Local Files " and select " verify integrity of game cache "

This can take a couple of minutes but it makes sure all your game files are correctly working and if not it will re-download and re-place that specific file.

Nice Dark This has happened to me before, and I just ignore it. I know I dont have any of those commands set to execute so I dont let it bother me, but try what Dark said if you really think it is a big deal.

Verifying your game cache can fix many problems including the really annoying one were it disconnects you because " A connection to the VAC servers could not be made " So I recommend doing it anyway , I just did
