So, today is full of grief and remorse for I had to lay my first guitar down to rest. I called her Rose (due to a Mario-sticker my sister pasted on) and as of 10-6-2010, she has finally reached her limits. Two of her tuning rods broke and the low E string is extremely loose. Rather than trying to desperately fix her up like a maniac, I decided to give her the long-needed rest she deserves.
Someone told me to smash the guitar down to bits, but I shouted, "I treat my guitar the same way I'll treat my girl..."
It was a very remorseful process but it's finally done. I should've taken better care of her, but making mistakes in the past can affect your future.
We all had to let go of that first-something, which one gave you the most sadness/regret??
