An interesting video from the History Channel which uses Hitler's real plans to construct a fictional image of what Britain would have looked like under Nazi rule. A very interesting set of videos indeed, goes on for about 14 parts so not for the faint of heart with regards to attention span.

I always thought it's funny that americans and brits argue who exactly won the war..
Neither America nor Britain would have won on their own. it's just that simple - highly speculative though^^
Without Britain the Americans would have missed any base in Europe to engage from - the other way round without the Americans the Brits would have run outta supplies sooner or later.
I'm not a friend of these "what if.." scenarios but it makes a pretty good sense that both needed each other.

So we all should be thankful that the alliance was formed and that you guys won the war (together)..

To be honest after reading Stalingrad we have a great deal of thanks to hand out to the Russians, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have got to Berlin even with the Yanks help.

Don't forget all the little people who risk their life, some lost, in that war - Le French Resistance, Force 136, the guerrilla and many more.

Because of them, the Axis forces have to pull their resources to deal with these people instead of the Allied Forces.
