Please try to keep the forums clean; with the dominance of reposts, bounties, and youtube videos, what little substance our TF2 divisional forums have quickly gets lost in the mix.

A link to their backpack is useful to see what items they have and you can ask that user or backpack holder how they like that weapon or what color do you recommend for what hat. And I don't think of this as a repost of the Trading Thread. With my thread you get to see all the items they have and mine is WAY more organized than the trading thread. That thread is just straight ads while mine is showing off and also seeing what other people have.

I haven't reposted anything, with 2 different topics on the same subject of trading. If people are really complaining about it, than by all means lock this thread, but I see it as a useful tool for months to come.

Well, looks like just less showing off and more people showing a backpack link with trade requests. Nobody's really showing off or talking about cool things they have..some are even just copying and pasting their stuff from "the trading thread." As for organization, of course when you get a thread with 15-20 pages of replies, it'll be less organized. I tried to lay down rules for people to follow to keep it organized, but nobody bothered to follow them. It'll be as organized as the users keep it, so if this thread catches on, it'll fall into disarray as well. The other is still perfectly functional, with ctrl+f at your command you can skim the whole thread in a minute or two for anything you want.

I understand your points but I don't understand is why cant both threads coexist? We both have the same subject but 2 different topics. Like I said before if enough people complain, so far no one else has complained, than lock it, but stop trying to make my thread into a flame war and bring it up with me in a PM.
 
Here's mine. I still haven't decided how to organise it. I initially had the hats for each class before their items but now I have too many so I have them on page four.
