CS:S Updates

These updates have been going on for awhile now, and I was wondering what all of you thought about them. Some say they are screwing up CS:S, while others say they are just what CS:S needs.

I personally like the fact that CS:S is getting attention again. It made me sad when I learned it wasn't going to be worked on again, and now that it is, I'm glad they are trying.

What do you all think?

Well, putting the game on the latest engine was smart because it makes everything easier for valve and updating


I think anything that positively contributes to even a minor bug is good. So YES to all updates

They're pretty good, but the crosshair update was a little... meh.

Apart from the new engine, I rekon it was pretty pointless. To the casual gamer like myself, I don't really notice too much. Except that suddenly many things need to have maintenance in order to be kept up to date.

Eh, I think it was part of the engine update...and even though we were in the dark for a day or so, we still figured out how to fix it. I'm putting my vote in: yes yo updates!

I like that there giving CSS a little attention again and hopefully the reg will fix and I can actually hit people >.<

Its a conspiration by download alot of stuff from the net and make us pay high cost bills!!!!

The updates fine but until I can use Episode 2 texture in CS:S i'll be mad.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Switching to the new engine was a great idea, but all of this other stuff....well. Least to say, it was not needed.

Thanks for all of your opinions guys. I don't like some of the updates, but I think they have to be done. It's something new and "better" for the game, and I think nobody really likes change, but we will get used to it.
