Looks like only me and one other person (probably the good Herr Doktor Compton) enjoy the MG class the best. Nothing and no one makes people cower away like the sound of an MG42 and a solid operator. Pure killing power with more than enough bullets to take down an entire team with one belt. The area controlling, pants wetting power of the '42 is hands-down my favorite class and gun of all time. Each class has its role. Snipers like to hide shoot you in the face from across the map and run away from hard chargers like the assault and support classes. Rockets root out MGs and snipers alike and riflemen can take the fight to you from up close or far away. But no single class denies the enemy territory like a well placed machine gunner and his most trusted ally the-- '42.

You would be correct my friend, although I do prefer the .30, I love both Machine Guns.

Assault. I love punching people in the face, and plus I try to stay close quarters as much as possible. Smoke grenades help to achieve that. Bottom line, best all around class for me.

Its all about the Thompson, although I have changed over the last few years.. I spent some time away from DOD when i first started I was a pro with the support class on both axis and allies, now im assault all the way

I am sure you have a lot of experience with various "guns" including up-close and personal interaction and anything inbetween. Although i cant speak for you Sumac, i am a straight shooter.

I didnt want to choose cause i like all the classes for their own reasons. i go with what kind of day im having. some days i like to MG and lock down an area, other days assault to push into the enemy lines. but finally sniper or rifle for the personal attachment to each kill. should have had more options! ><'
