Should Couch Game Be BANNED?

Trivia was banned in the last update of the rules, so do you think couch game should also be banned? For me, just like trivia, I find it unfair, based on luck not skill and its obviously not fun.

Unlike Simon Says, Race, Climb and all the other games are atleast fun, require skill and gives us a fair chance.

Whats your thoughts on the couch game? :sneaky2:

PS: Please dont recommend that I post this in the Drop Box because I want to hear what everyone's thoughts are :thumbdown:
 
They recently made the big changes to those Jail rules as you most likely know. I can assure you they thought about these rules for a long time and saw it better to leave this game unbanned, not to mention almost every jail map has couches so why would we get rid of something that everymap uses?

Trivia consisted of people just facing a wall for 5 minutes trying to answer a question and was a boring waste of time so it got banned. In my opinion, couch game should stay the way it is, not to mention I barely see it played anyway.
 
Hey man

I agree with you, the couch game isn't that fair it requires luck and not skill... and if you pick the wrong and get killed... you have to wait till the whole round ends because they ct's always do it at the start. i think it should be banned... but i also think trivia should be brought back because it's fun it's intense and it's the only thing that was good in jail because they banned everything else. i hope they bring back travia and and yes... i think they should ban couch game :)
 
We wont ban couch game because its incorporated in every map as it is, but I will leave this thread open for discussion :).
 
It's bad enough they took Trivia away which was pure awesomeness, taking away couch game would be taking away what eGO jail is..
 
It should stay as it's a good way to eliminate a lot of T's early on.. less rebelers too ;)
 
I hate couch game too but I think it's needed since it can fairly (or unfairly if you're the one dying) thin out the Ts
 
Couch game is NOT a game of luck as much as it is a game of observation. Here's why:
1. CTs tend to look at the couches that will die
2. When told not to look at the couch go to the couch where the warden is looking

If you follow these two basic rules you will avoid being killed the majority of the time. If in doubt find the most inexperienced CT and avoid the couch they look at.

Congrats, you are now a couch game pro.
 
Eh, this doesn't need to be banned. I hardly ever encounter it when I don't play for 45+ minutes, so I'd say leave it.
 
Couch game is apart of some maps, so that will be hard to ban it. Also, there is a little trick you can do, just look where the CT's are looking and move to a different couch! That simple.

Many people, including me purposely stare at the wrong couch to trick the t's.

I use this as well. Also use clues. I sometimes (depending on my mood) will stress the number couch the dies. Let's say it dies at 4:15 and I want to kill couches 4 and 5 i will stress the 4 and 5 so they at least get an idea of what couch might die. I don't do it much but sometimes I will.♠
 
Ts fear the couch game. Fear leads to anger, and anger leads to rebellion. Couch game is as much a game as it is a motivator to get the Ts to rebel. Instead of moaning to the CTs about how bad the couch game is, give him them gift of metal through their wind pipes. :)
 
Three things about couch game:

1. CTs usually get a little close during this. If you get a gun, then you pretty much win the round as you would all be stacked.

2. Would you rather be doing simon says for 10 minutes straight?

3. And Nighthawk, I always go on the couch you look at. Look for experienced CTs and jump on their couches they look at.
