Language Change?

I bought the cd yesterday, it was in english yesterday, and now it suddenly changed to french. I want it in english, how do I change it?

Btw, I checked the properties, restarted my pc, restarted steam, changed steam's language.

Nope, I even deleted it and re-installed it.

try changing your steam download server location to somewhere within the US, restart steam, change your steam language to english, restart steam.

Should work for all you games, not just CSS. Well, as long as you bought it though Steam.

The properties one does not work. It's already in english.

Changed server download, It became French after an update.

It looks like the CD's software was coded wrong or it glitch during the copy process, just get tech support on it.

Try changing it to french purposely, then close the game and start it again in English.

thanks anyways, I still do speak french, but I prefer english since It's technically my first language.

saw this in this morning's client update for steam:

Steam will now use the language selected in the retail installer instead of the current UI language when installing from disc

perhaps this will fix your problem
