Cowon J3

[Blue Stealth]

This is the first FLAC supported "mp3 player" w/ an SD slow (microSD), and I was thinking about getting one. Has anyone here had an experience with one of these or has one themselves? If so, please share your opinion and if you think there is a better option within a $350 price range.

ya i really love cowon devices since they actually care about sound quality the only thing i would take a 2nd take on is storage i think j3 is only 32gb which isnt much if your playing flac.

i really wish they made devices in the 320gb range for storage.

I use a Rockboxed Sansa Clip+, but Sansa still has Flac and OGG Vorbis support unmodified.

It is cheap and affordable.

yah thats the problem with my s9, its only 32gb. this j3 has external storage capability though, it has a micrSD slot, so you could easily add another 32GB of storage.

ya i dont use my all that often anymore due to the not carrying much but have a other 32 gb on a sdhc card wouldnt change much for me since my collection is a bit over 200gb.
