What kind of phone do you have?

Just got a new phone, so I felt like showing it off and I wanted to see what you guys got

Old Phone: Blackberry Curve

New Phone: Google G2

Cost me $200 and is amazing. My first droid, so of course I am going to be impressed, but is overall phenomenal.

I might consider getting the G2...... Is it any good?

It's amazing. I upgraded from a non-touch screen Blackberry Curve, so of course this phone is going to be nice to me, but I feel its got so many features and customizable options that I could have fun with this for a long time.

Mostly true for anyone going into an android phone..........but yes, the G2 is a great phone. I would personally wait though.

Multi-processor phones are coming out soon supposedly and new android phones are rolling out so fast these days its crazy........a phone is always being one upped except for the Galaxy S so far but it will be overtaken soon.

That DROID T-2 sounds crazy FreakingHell but probably won't come till next year

I can't imagine the battery life on a dual core phone. It's horrid on most android phones as it is.

The "wait game" is risky....it's just like computer parts..there will always be that "next big" thing coming out soon.

I had the G1 for long time, and really liked it. Earlier this year, I got a Motorola cliq-xt. (got it free from t-mobile, as a replacement for my broken G1).

Back in the summer, I really started watching the upcoming phones, cause i wanted a new one..and was looking really hard at the Samsung Galaxy. I REALLY wanted one!

But...in my opinion, the Galaxy has a few design issues. Primarily being that it does not have a LED notification alert...meaning if you miss a call/text/etc.. there is no blinking LED to alert you. (the iphone is the same way). THIS would drive me crazy.

So i ended up waiting for the HTC G2.. but what I REALLY want is the HTC Desire HD. It's being released in Nov...However, it's NOT being released in the U.S. That made me sad.

Anyway, the Desire HD will beat the Galaxy. Goggle it (make sure you find the HD one, not the older "non HD" one)

I've got the HTC HD2, running Android 2.2 right now. Soon I'll be running WP7 for some 3 os fun.

I have a 16g iPhone 4

Also,

How do you have a white iphone 4 when it is not available anywhere?

+1...

Beyond:

1. Skin/Case

2. Colorware ($290 to paint the frame, back, front button, and sim slot cover... BUT they don't color the black glass screen)
PLUS A replacement digitizer/glass screen (example) which can run anywhere from $50 - $150...

But any of those options (beyond the case/skin, but that isn't believable in any regard) seem A LOT of work/money just to attempt to clone a phone that hasn't been released and won't be released until still later this year... AND will be cheaper than all the work required aftermarket... :bored:

Yea waiting game is hard..............as for the Desire HD, ehhh i mean it has a bit more RAM and possibly a better camera but i don't think its going to be faster than the Galaxy S. The GPU in the Galaxy S is ridiculous and better than any phone right now, even better than most phones coming out. Im guessing the Desire HD will be using the updated qualcomm snapdragon with the new adreno but it's still slower than the PowerVR SGX 540
