I don't know how you can consider it boring, honestly.

Anyone can get sponsored by Redz and Empire. They aren't true sponsorships as it is anyway.

Might have been just back in the day they used to. Now, unless you are pro or compete in a high level national tournament series you will not be given a "free ride" by many companies.

It's kind of the reason why the perception of the tournament scene is dying so to speak. A lot of money was invested in a lot of teams and leagues and there was little return of investment over the years. Companies and organizations are finally realizing that and slowly shifting their business practices to match.

This is also why many companies are also marketing towards woodsball/scenario/recball again.

Thats me on the far left, my team is the rest of those players. We held that ridge for 45 minutes against over 200 people and multiple tanks.

This one was back in 07 when I had a m203 on my X7.

Never really had a chance to play paintball yet, though I've always wanted to. I've been trying to find a time when I can get some friends together to go to downtown Chicago and play with me soon. xD

My scenario team (which sadly, is 2000 miles east of of my duty station) is sponsored and well known in our state (New Jersey) in the scenario community.

Don't know if you've ever heard of us.

Anyway, I love playing scenario. Sure, speedball is fun (and the only option in El Paso/Fort Bliss currently), but there's nothing like taking on a team of hundreds at a time.

My current scenario setup is a Tippmann A-5 w/OPSGEAR UMP Kit, OPSGEAR G-36 barrel, and fake suppressor kit. I have the e-grip with the WAS board in it, and the TechT Vortex mod to replace my once broken Cyclone ratchet. I also run an ADCO red dot sight, but it's pretty much useless so I think I am going to switch to a small holographic sight. It works better with my mask.

Currently planning on getting an Army-spec Interceptor Body Armor vest, and MOLLE pouches to customize my loadout. We use TRU-Spec digital woodland uniforms, and all black tactical gear (vests, pouches, etc.). Since I am in the Army I use an old pair of desert combat boots and they work out quite well.
