★ Reasons To Join The EDGEGAMERS? Organization ★
► Foreword and Content
I might be just an "=(e)=™" member but, In this post, I will post the reasons why I joined eGO, however, I am not an expert on eGO, If I have missed something about this group or posted wrong information, please kindly post informing me about it.
► What is the EDGEGAMERS? Organization
The EDGEGAMERS? Organization, other known as eGO is a massive gaming community of over 30,000 members registered to the forums and over nine divisions. The EDGEGAMERS? Organization is indeed one of the largest communities on the interwebs.
► Free Admin
Have you ever dreamed of being an admin, for a huge gaming community, for free? Well now you can! Logically, you wouldn't get it instantly due to abuse, you will need to respect the rules and you will need to be active as well. According to the award, "Field Service" given (eG promotion award), there has been over 3,000 eG admin given, which is quite a huge number.
Ranks:
=(e)=™ - Regular, non promoted member.
=(eG)=™ - Promoted member, with less power than an "eGO" ranked member. (Over 3000 promoted)
=(eGO)=™ b- Fully promoted admin. (Over 1500 promoted)
► Anti-Cheat & Administration
The EDGEGAMERS? Organization may satisfy your needs, by reducing the risk of cheaters on the servers. The EDGEGAMERS? Organization has an outstanding number of mature administrators on the servers. The EDGEGAMERS? Organization only chooses mature and dedicated administrator for It's servers. Here's a list of key points on the EDGEGAMERS? Organization's administration:
- There is a numerous amount of mature administrators on the servers and forums.
- There are administration schools for new administrators.
- Admins cannot be abusive without a superiors permission, such as freezing every player or killing every single player.
- The EDGEGAMERS? Organization is always looking for new adminstrators, you will first join as an "=(e)=™". If you're active and mature, then there's a high chance of a promotion to either, =(eG)=™ or =(eGO)=™. [=(eGO)=™ being the highest rank.]
► Competitive and Fun GamePlay
Fun GamePlay:
Maybe you're new to a game but you wish to be a member of the EDGEGAMERS? Organization, well that is perfectly fine, to join this clan, you don't require professional skills, It's all about fun. It's all about your maturity and respect in the servers, forums, ventrillo, IRC, ect. Not being the best at this game does not affect your chances of becoming an administrator on the servers.
Competitive/Serious GamePlay:
You can always play competitively in the regular servers, If you do not wish to play in the regular servers, then you should apply to the competitive team, however, there might be a chance of rejection. (Correct me If I'm wrong)
► Events
The EDGEGAMERS? Organization has a vast number of special events, I'll be using Day of Defeat since I am a member of that particular division. Well, yesterday the DOD:S division had a "Realism Event" where It's an EDGEGAMERS? member exclusive, where only eGO members have the ability to play. Realism is a fun event that is more realistic than usual gameplays, for example, once you die, you cannot re-spawn, TK is enable, ect. It's actually quite fun. EDIT: Apparently, non eGO members can participate in the events as long as one eGO member knows them.
All our events are for fun purposes and to meet new people! Some events, such as the "Halloween Frag fest" have actual cash prizes!
► International
This is a very good thing about the EDGEGAMERS? Organization because, even If you're from a country such as Australia, you will have the ability to play. I personally reside in France, even though I have a high ping, I find to the lag to be quite low. The server are ran on high quality, therefore, there isn't much lag.
► Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed reading this information and that this would hopefully help you decide. This took me about one hour to write and do research, so please be nice. I personally love this clan, not being biased. A comment of what you think about this, a suggestion would be nice. :thumbup1:
